Well prepared
Strong secondary education systems and a culture of independent study mean students arrive ready for college-level work.
For admissions & international offices
Your recruitment partner in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. We will represent a maximum of three U.S. schools per state and introduce them to motivated, English-fluent students.

The challenge
The number of U.S. high school graduates peaked in 2025 and is projected to decline steadily through 2041. Nordic students are part of the answer.

Why Nordic students
Nordic students want an international education, but few U.S. schools have a direct way to reach them. EDEA is that channel.
The demand for an international degree is proven. We make the U.S. their first choice.

English is taught from early school years, and the Nordic countries consistently rank among the most English-proficient in the world.
Many can fund degree studies abroad through national student finance – CSN in Sweden, Lånekassen in Norway, SU in Denmark and Kela in Finland – with grants and loans for living costs, and in Sweden and Norway also for tuition.

HOW WE WORK
We don't market studying abroad in general. We market your school – to Nordic students and families, in their own language.
Our campaigns feature our partner schools specifically – not study abroad in general.
Fairs, school visits, social media and student advising in four countries – without the cost of your own staff or travel.
We only present our partner schools – and never a competing school in your state and category.
Every partner is on the same terms, so we match students on fit. Our service is always free for them.

EDEA is a newly founded Swedish company that helps Nordic students find and apply to U.S. colleges and universities.
It started with a personal experience. I studied at a college in Delaware from 1995 to 2000 – still one of the best things I have ever done. I love the U.S. and the person it helped me become. Many years later, it still shapes my everyday life, both in my work and in a close group of friends now spread across most of the world.
Living on campus, making friends from all over the world, seeing another country from the inside and growing as a person stays with you for the rest of your life.
I no longer live in the U.S., but I have a deep passion for helping young people experience the same thing. After many years in different roles in international marketing, I have decided to let that passion lead the way – and founded EDEA.
At the same time, I know how complicated it can feel for Nordic families: which schools fit, how applications work, scholarships, student finance and visas. Many give up before they even start. EDEA is here to change that – and to give U.S. schools a direct, trusted channel to motivated Nordic students.
